Customize your logo and tagline

We realize that everyone has different opinions about how your logo should be outputted, so with Morph we have gone ahead and given you option to choose for yourself.

In Configurator, start by going to the Customize tab > Logo settings.

Logo types

  1. Linked h1 text
  2. Linked h1 image replacement
  3. Linked inline image
  4. Module position (branding)

How to set your logo

You can upload your logo image from within Configurator or use text based options for your logo. If you use an image, you can select whether you would like Configurator to automatically determine the dimensions of your chosen image.

Using this with the 'Linked inline image' logo option will actually change the dimensions of the logo image, where as with the Linked h1 image replacement, it will just change the width and height of the linked h1 element.

Depending on your choice above, you can set your:

  • logo text
  • logo image alt text
  • logo link title text
  • logo text foreground color
  • custom logo text font size
  • logo font family
  • logo top position (x-coordinates)
  • logo left position (y-coordinates)
  • logo stacking order (z-index)

Logo image for IE6

This option is useful when you want to use a transparent png image for all standards compliant browsers and a less smooth transparent logo for IE6 (which doesn't handle image transparency).

Display tagline

If you have a slogan/tagline you would like to display on your site, this is easily done from within Configurator and you can set your:

  • tagline text
  • tagline text foreground color
  • tagline text font size
  • tagline font family
  • tagline top position (x-coordinates)
  • tagline left position (y-coordinates)
  • tagline stacking order (z-index)

Introduction to Morph's architecture

Morph's architecture is quite different from most traditional Joomla! templates, so it's important to you understand the role that each of the three key parts play, as it will help you grasp the other key concepts that Morph introduces.
